We are a small yet mighty congregation. Many of our members are active in ensuring regular outings occur for some of our congregants. We celebrate you.
The first two are taken with Ichiro (Simon) Noshiro. Ichiro was presented with a jar of KUROMAME: the Japanese Black shiny soybean dish considered to bring good health in the New Year. Ichiro receive the dish from Tamiko, Japanese resident of Sidney.
Onward then to Mutsuki-An Japanese restaurant, where Ichiro enjoyed a delicious lunch along with Bob, Amy, Pat Randazzo, and Barbara Erickson.
The third image was taken during the UCW Luncheon in February. This is Rita Sandwith (96 years). Her family ( Sandwith and the Erickson families) homesteaded together in Peavine, Alberta back in the 1930’s!
Many thanks to Barbara Erickson for submitting these images.
