“Let’s Talk About Newfoundland –  Highlights of a Summer Adventure” John, Pat and Mollie Gunton

In the summer of 2025 we enjoyed a 3 month, 22,000 km motorhome trip across Canada. Our focus in this presentation is Newfoundland - the Island which we explored during the entire month of August. We returned home through Labrador driving along the only road but we don’t have time to cover that part of our trip. Labrador could be the topic of a separate meeting in the future.

The Island of Newfoundland has a very interesting history which melds together so nicely when you meet the wonderful people and see the harsh landscape of our newest and most easterly Province. We hope to share our thoughts and observations with others, some of whom may have travelled the same roads and visited the same places. Hopefully we can share experiences. For those who have not visited the Island, it is highly recommended that you consider adding a visit to your bucket list.
