Children and youth always are welcome at our worship and programs. Shortly after worship begins, a Sunday School session is offered where the children will listen to a story, try a craft or do a special activity. Our congregation is actively exploring ways we can make a difference in the lives of children, youth and families in our community. Your suggestions are encouraged!
What is Messy Church?
It’s a place of celebration and creativity, where conversation and laughter fill the air, and food, fun and faith are shared. Messy Church is where all ages come together to discover Jesus.
It is primarily designed for people who don’t already belong to another form of church – no matter how ‘messy’ they feel their lives are. There are around 2,500 Messy Churches in 4 continents.
Here at Central Saanich United Church we host a monthly free family event - and all are welcome!
Join us for stories, songs, handicrafts and light supper from around 5pm - usually the third Friday of the month.
The program resumes in September after summer holidays.
