The music at Central Saanich United Church under the leadership of Michael MacEwan draws on an eclectic blend of old and new, contemporary and traditional.
Michael facilitates the weekly Shadywood Choir on Tuesdays at 4pm in the Sanctuary. The Choir will be having a break over summer, June - September
Monthly Concerts
We are excited to be partnering with Augmented Trio Promotions to present a monthly concert series from September 2026 through April 2027. Stay tuned for more information.
The afternoon concerts (2:00pm) will be held in the church’s beautiful sanctuary on the fourth Sunday of each month and will feature a variety of music styles, from classical to jazz to rock, performed by Augmented Trio Promotions ensembles.

Jan 25, 2026 – on the ‘hat, jazz standards and contemporary classical music share the stage with voice, flute and piano
Feb 22 – Tuba4, expect the unexpected, all kinds of music and all down low
Mar 22 – RESONANCE, musical connections inspired by themes and classical music for voice and piano
Apr 26 – Aerie Trio returns, with more evocative classical music both old and new
May 24 – Broke and Blue returns, with more intoxicating fusion of jazz and classical styles
